Log ‘n Flame LED
Flickering Fireplace Log
I thought I had a good idea when I made the first flashing light fire circuit. The circuit board drove three “grain of wheat” lights at different flashing rates. I drilled holes into the molded flame and log and inserted the three lights underneath each of the three flames. It gave the look of a real fire and worked without interfering with the other lights of the dollhouse. It also worked on either DC or AC. The only problem was most people did not understand how to wire it into their existing dollhouse electrical system and still hide the circuit board.
Well, I have solved that problem. It can’t be made any easier. With the new micro electronics and the magic of LED’s I now have a flashing fire log with all of the electronics concealed within the log itself. Because it uses LED’s it will last virtually forever and all you need to do is plug it into your electrical system. It does not get hot and will not interfere with the rest of your lights in the dollhouse. It also uses about the same current as that of one “grain of wheat” lamp.
