Take your time in selecting the proper light fixtures for your dollhouse. There are many different types and styles of lights and it can be a lot of fun finding just the right one. How you install the lights you need to decide also. For instance, I like to use Cir-Kits ceiling canapé adaptor for hanging all of the ceiling fans and large chandeliers. I use their chandelier adapters for smaller lights and their sconce adapters for wall mounted lights. Even though I hard wire most of my houses, I want some sort of connection so I can easily remove the light if something would go wrong or I just decide it is time to change it. If you hardwire the entire unit you will not easily be able to remove the fixture. You also should look for lights that have replaceable light bulbs or use the new LED lights. LED lights last a very long time and use very little current. You can find a lot of helpful hints and instructions for wiring your dollhouse on
Cir-Kit Concepts web page.

Whether you prefer to wire your dollhouse or display using the electrical tape or prefer to hard wire your display: You will need a number of items that can be hard to find. The leader in all of your electrical needs is Cir-Kit Concepts. I recommend that you check out some of Cir-Kit’s help pages in properly using their items. This will help you become more familiar with wiring for yourself. I personally use a combination of hardwiring and the Cir-Kit technique.
