     The Marykay was designed from photographs of the original built in rural Iowa around 1880. The house features a double pitch hip roof, a dormer, bay window and large porches. These features were captured in the dollhouse. In addition, the living room and dining room have 9’ ceilings, there is a step-down 2nd bedroom and a full attic.
