My name is Carl R. Sahlberg. I became interested in miniatures while making a dollhouse for my daughter 35 years ago. My interests increased when my brother asked me to make dollhouses for each of his three kids. Each house became more detailed and included more unusual ideas. I even made my first truly custom house when I copied our summer home on Lake Tippecanoe in NE Indiana. (See pictures below) This got me interested in creating custom designed items such as a working ceiling fan with lights and some unusual display boxes. On selling my business in Indianapolis, I moved to Lake Worth, Florida and.began traveling to clubs and trade shows to sell my creations. Along the way I picked up a number of other products I felt would enhance any dollhouse or room boxes.. And Now, I have moved from Florida to Bedford, Indiana where I enjoy working in my new 1200 sq. ft. workshop. The only thing I miss Florida for is the warm weather. Please take your time looking around this site and enjoy!
